NOT LONG AGO HE WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT. Since that release, Mark Robichaud has seen that justice was served not only to those responsible, but to several others. By now he has dealt with so many bad men that he has a burning desire to draw outlaw blood. Becoming a manhunter will afford him that opportunity. In the first book of the “Dead Man Out of Yuma, Series Two: Manhunter,” Mark Robichaud is leaving Mexico with two of the three outlaws he came down here to capture. According to his prisoners, the third member of their party, a gunslinger by the name of Juan Ortega, never crossed the border. Instead, Ortega stayed at a saloon and pleasure house just outside New Nogales called “Dirty Pearl’s and Sweet Sue’s." In hopes of avoiding the rurales, federales, and el jefe de policia of a nearby pueblo, Robichaud doesn’t take the main route leading out of here. Rather, much to the strong objections of his prisoners, he and they strike out across the open desert. That might have been a mistake. Not only do they encounter both rurales and federales, but a few Yaqui Indians he hadn’t figured on. If they survive the trip across the desert, he has another surprise for the two prisoners. After he deposits their carcasses with the New Nogales sheriff and his deputies for the night, he’s going to make a trip out to “Dirty Pearl's.” Follow Robichaud as he exacts his brand of justice in what was once the wild west frontier.
