One of Barry’s best!

Dave Barry did a great job with this book. It is funny, fun and and a great Barry spin on history.

A Great Listen

A great performance of Barry's classic humor. Don't listen at night, or you'll keep waking your spouse, laughing.

Monotonous

This book has the same writing pattern over and over. A paragraph about a topic and then a humorous sentence at the end. It would have been great if it was a newspaper article in length. But its just too much to listen too for a whole book's worth of this type of thing.

Anything by Dave, but Not This Book

Until now, Dave Barry has never failed to make me laugh.

This book reads as if the whole objective was simply to write historical facts that aren't true. Instead of jokes. It's a relentless litany of unfunny half-baked nonsense, really.

Maybe Patrick Frederic's voice also isn't an asset. This might sound funny with Dave reading it.

But probably not.
