Excellent narration, interesting story

The narrator is next level greatness and I only wish he would read more books. The story is fun and the characters have a real feeling about them.

Excellent series

This story follows Joseph Lake, who lost his memory some 10 years back and has been trying to figure out who is is since. Investigations into the paranormal lead him down an entirely unexpected path, with the help of a less than charming familiar, Eva. I wasn’t a fan of all the flatulence jokes, but otherwise thought this series was quirky and interesting! The pace was excellent, and so was the story.

The narrator was fantastic! He really captured the essence of the characters he played, giving life to each of their personalities. Occasionally the volume would dip so it was hard to hear, but that happened few enough times that it wasn’t that bad.

I loved this little series, it caught my attention and kept it before I knew it my books were over. I'm looking forward to more in the future...top notch totally!!

Unique Characters & Incredible Narration

Dave Jones blew the narration out of the water. He brought the characters to life and beautifully portrayed their emotions (especially in book 3 - was feeling choked up myself, lol). I'm devastated that this series is over (and that Dave doesn't narrate anything else!) Thank you for your performance, and to the authors for writing a fun little series. Eva is my spirit animal ♡ I won't forget her

I could've listened to it for a few more hours, it was fantastic. The story was amazing and with Mr. Dave Jones' narration it was the best.

3 Audible books in One

The MC Joseph Lake is a gentle, unassuming, simple man who just wants to know his past.
Eva Familiar is a Familiar that has a filthy mouth, nothing good to say about Joseph, and a alcoholic. These two together are trying to protect the Lake area and fight the good fight.
I have listened to several other Uncanny Kingdom books and this collection is OK, but not one of the better ones. Narrator does a good job with the characters voices and the entire storyline.
