Your baby won't come with a manual... But luckily, there's another way to make sure you're prepared. Your journey starts right here.

People say no one’s ever prepared for parenthood… and, while reassuring, it’s not helpful.

Whether your pregnancy was planned or a surprise, you’re bound to feel nervous. When you got your job, you had training and a job description…

But for this role – the most important role you’ll ever have – you’re coming to it blind, and you’re on call all the time.

Nothing will prepare you for the immense love you’ll feel when you look at your child for the first time… but it’s not true that there’s nothing you can do to prepare.

Get ahead of the game and balance work and family life perfectly.

This manual is the handbook every new dad needs. It will guide you to be a confident dad as soon as your little one takes their first breath.

You’ll discover:

  • Your secret weapon for managing worry and other complicated emotions
  • How to care for your partner before your baby’s born (and what to expect from her pregnancy)
  • A complete guide to pre-baby prep (know what to prioritize)
  • What to do (and not do!) in the birthing room – and what no one tells you about the first time you see your baby

Perhaps you feel like there’s nothing you can do to prepare for what’s ahead… or maybe you figure that since no one’s prepared, you’ll probably be ok just to wing it.

Nothing will fully prepare you, and you will be fine… but wouldn’t it be better to load yourself up with practical advice and game-changing hacks before you start?

You’re in for a great adventure… and as everyone knows, an adventure is even better when you’re prepared… especially if it’s a Dadventure!

Your journey into fatherhood begins here… Make sure you have the road map!

“Dads-to-Be: First-Time Fathers Guide” is the perfect gift for my son-in-law, so I decided to listen to the audiobook myself before giving it to him. As a new dad, there’s so much you don’t know, and trust me—it’s much easier to hand over this book than to try and explain it all yourself, especially when you are the mother-in-law! This guide covers everything, not just a list of tasks. With engaging stories, it walks new dads through everything they need to know, from supporting their partner during pregnancy and delivery to understanding what she’s going through to caring for and loving their new baby. It’s full of practical tips and insights. This book truly has it all because, let’s face it, new dads can use all the help they can get!

This book is a refreshingly honest and insightful resource for new fathers. Even though I am well past my "baby" days, the important information hasn't changed! This book takes best practices and weaves them into an enjoyable narrative. The stories from other dads add to the authenticity. Of course, the book wouldn't be the same without the 50+ dad hacks. I recommend this book to any dad-to-be embarking on this amazing journey.

This is an excellent guidebook for new fathers, which makes the daunting responsibility of being a dad a privilege. There are many tips on embracing the chaos, staying calm, and using the power of presence for your child. There are also anecdotes from successful dads that a new dad can apply to his fatherhood journey. The bonus dad hacks chapter is handy. I would recommend this to soon-to-be dads or new dads.
