This book is a bombardment of deliverance prayers that addresses every area of life. It is called Deliverance Rain because it takes an intensity of fire similar to the rain of fire that Elijah called down on Mount Carmel to destroy the stronghold of darkness (1 Kings 18:30-38). Lester Sumrall said, “Flies cannot land on a hot stove.” I have found that to be true. It takes a certain intensity of fire to destroy longstanding yokes. I encourage you to rain down the fire of prayer over every situation that calls for deliverance in your life. James 5:13 clearly states that the antidote to affliction is prayer. You can break that chain of affliction with the rain of fire. You already have what it takes.
