Really Good

This is a really good mystery with a lot of drama. The only thing I didn't like is that it dragged on abit to add more drama than I thought was necessary.

Fabulous Series!

This is the second series I’ve read by DGS, and she’s quickly become one of my favorite authors. Typically, I read cozy mysteries and romance. Curtain Call is more intense than my regular reads, but not to the point I couldn’t handle it. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, especially toward the end of the book. Characters were well-developed and experienced. I believe one could read Curtain Call as a stand-alone, but aspects within each book of the series are resolved in subsequent titles and greatly increased my overall satisfaction!

In both DGS series I’ve read, the romance and spice gave the novels a sense of verisimilitude that can be lacking in many cozy mysteries. It was refreshing to read adults behaving as adults.

Narration was excellent! I highly recommend Curtain Call and the entire Magnolia Steele series!

Thank you for another great series. Great story and characters. Lots of twists and turns and suspense. So glad Colt and Magnolia got their Happy after.
