TERRIFIC ADVENTURE

Shaman,kgb, sas(retired),reformed female kgb agent,all tied together in a first rate story. Interesting, well developed characters with villians you will hate and heros you can love. (unusually well produced with sound effects also)

What a piece of trash

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Maybe staying with one storyline, maybe making some sort of sense, the summary is different then the actual main body, there is no hope to make it a 4 or 5.

What could Brendan Guy Alimo have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He could have read a different book. the performance was fine, I enjoy the English accent.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

It was the story and not the narrator.

What character would you cut from Cruise?

I wasn't able to follow the book, I listened to first part and was so confused I ended up deleting it from my library. This book should be cut.

Any additional comments?

I wasn't able to follow the story line because it kept jumping from story to story, not chapter to chapter, it went from the timeline to timeline as well, at one point there was even a sea monster involved, it was horrible, I did not even finish the book it was so bad, I drive a truck and listening to the wind blow through a half opened window was more relaxing then this pile of crap. AVOID

Very disappointed

OK, maybe a matter of taste, but, I found the sound effects overwhelmed the story. It was more a stage play than a reading. Trying to move beyond that, I didn't find any interesting characters and the story was boring. The author, who should have had someone else read the book, couldn't even make the exciting parts exciting. I gave up after wading through part 1. I'm very sorry I selected this one.
