Let's chat audiobook details because the narration is BEYOND COMPELLING!! Wendy Wolfson single handedly delivered a world of characters that were all unique and evoked the full range of emotions! For example, Princess Aurea starts off very entitled and her voice had that spoiled girl edge to it that grates... BUT without even changing the voice, Wendy somehow took that edge away and replaced it with a confident strength. It still blows my mind. And I think we all want to know how the male characters sounded?? INCREDIBLE!! Baki (MMC) was perfection, the villain truly made me want to punch his voice through the headphones, the whole cast was voiced in a way that moved it from a listening experience to a full blown movie being played out in my mind.

BEYOND 10/10 - hands down the BEST STANDALONE fantasy I have read all year!!!

A Masterful Tale

Tyler Edwards does it again! Another masterpiece in the books! (Pun intended)⁣

• A spectacular journey of growth and self discovery. ⁣

I will never tire of this author and his stories. They are so well thought out and incorporate so many ideas and struggles that everyone will find a character they connect with on a personal level. This book is no different despite being his first step into the romantasy genre! ⁣

The cast of characters is another smash hit. Each one has such a different personality and brings something special to the table. I loved Aurea’s character growth it was a fascinating journey. She truly grew into herself by the end and I grew to love her. Baki is a great MMC, he accepts Aurea as she is and recognizes her changes and the new strength she shows. The assassin is my absolute favorite character. I just love how he acts and the way he carries himself. ⁣

I have already read it twice. Once in e*book format and then I got to listen to the audiobook. It is masterful in both medias. The narrator is absolutely insane and the perfect voice for this story. I was enthralled by her delivery and she made me want to keep listening!

If you have not found a Tyler Edwards’s book in your hand you need to remedy that immediately. I highly recommend him to any fantasy lover! ⁣

Thrilling! There’s good world building in the beginning and great intro of the characters. Then all it takes it’s one happy moment and a catalyst and your thrust into a life & death adventure! I expected nothing less from Tyler! This is a slow burn romantic fantasy and it was completely enjoyable! Be careful getting attached to characters though lol. Tyler really know how to through twists at you that you never would have thought. This was a great thrilling fantasy romance. In the beginning there is attempted SA. There can be some gore scenes but Tyler doesn’t describe in excessive details. There is also murder after the fact on the page, along with death of a loved one.

Update: I was given the chance to listen to Wendy Wolfson narrate this story and it was AMAZING!! She is soo perfect for this fantasy romance. She brought every character to life and it felt sooo real! If you read crown of sorrows get the audiobook! I promise you won’t regret it!
