This book is the creative conception of Sanjay, a teacher, public speaker and memoirist, in collaboration with Megan, a writer and editor who provides advice on the nuts and bolts of writing craft. The book is by no means an exhaustive course in writing. It is a short introduction to each major aspect of the writing process, from the moment it takes your fancy to when you want to share it with the world. Many of the chapters include exercises. They are meant to perform two jobs. Firstly they are meant to help clarify the teaching in each chapter, to make it easier to understand. Secondly they are meant to help you just get some words onto the page because sometimes a blank sheet is the biggest, most terrifying barrier of all.
