What are they talking about?

I was baffled by this audio book. I am an author and interested in perhaps using my talents to produce an ebook in line with my specialist knowledge. That's why I bought this audio book but unfortunately the speaker talks in some kind of strange geek speak that I do not understand. No hard facts are supplied and no real advice about making a success of publishing in ebook format. Just seems to be a telephone type ego trip. Plenty of this type of thing on the internet but you only get suckered once (but given the nunbers on the internet thats all you need). I suppose thats the whole point about this kind of sales claptrap.
