I was taught to look for horses, not zebras in nursing school. These stories are full of zebras! very interesting.

Not what I expected

The book is read by AI and I wonder how much it helped writing it. I expected unusual cases by A doctor, however, each chapter is apparently a different doctor. You are not introduced to the doctor and only indirectly told their field of practice. Each chapter is a patient's story and they all involve rare diseases. The premise is fine, but every story is repetitious on the resilience, courage and cheerful outlook of the patient as they suffer various aspects of their disease. The main idea is apparently patients of all ages are resilient and their families are extremely supportive, and they all teach their doctors about the strength of the human spirit. Disappointing waste of time. The best thing going for it is it is short .

Horrible Start. Can’t Listen

Virtual voice was somewhat tinny. And what on God’s green earth did this person think would draw me in by beginning with so many sentences that said the same thing, only slightly differently? Or the second “story” that had the doctor slip up in the OR, resulting in the woman and her unborn child’s deaths? Argh!
