A Craven Kane Investigates Mystery
In the span of one week, three unrelated players reported seeing the same impossible entity.
Each was playing Minecraft Beta 1.8.9.
Each described an Enderman that was white.
None could fully explain what they had seen.
One player observed it for an entire night on a remote island, watching as it moved deliberately and interacted with the world before vanishing just before sunrise.
Another saw it only for a moment at the edge of a forest, never to see it again.
A third captured video of a white Enderman burning on a beach at dawn, footage that raised as many questions as it answered.
Private investigator Craven Kane examines the reports with skepticism, methodical analysis, and restraint. He reviews the footage frame by frame, interviews the witnesses, and conducts his own twenty-day investigation in a Beta 1.8.9 world.
He does not find definitive proof.
But he also cannot dismiss the case.
Case File #5: The White Enderman is a quiet, investigative exploration of rare phenomena, probability, and the limits of evidence in digital worlds. It is not a story about jump scares or certainty. It is about what happens when credible reports overlap just enough to make dismissal uncomfortable.
Not every mystery ends with answers.
Some end with a file that stays open.
This case is one of them.

Craven Kane Investigates
Series Introduction
My name is Craven Kane.
I investigate strange things.
Not crimes.
Not ghosts.
Not paranormal… well, sometimes maybe.
I investigate Minecraft worlds.
When something unexplainable happens, they contact me.
Doors opening or closing by themselves.
Torches broken or missing.
Shadowy figures in the distance.
Mines that disappear.
I log into the player's world.
I interview witnesses.
I conduct overnight investigations.
I take notes.
Most of the time, there is an explanation.
A game mechanic that was overlooked.
A feature that behaves differently than expected.
A corrupted seed.
But sometimes… there is no explanation.
Sometimes things are just that, unexplainable.
Each book in this series is an investigation.
Some cases are solved.
Some are partially solved.
Some remain unanswered.
If something unexplainable has happened in your world, you are not alone.
Most likely, it is nothing.
Most likely.
This is Case File #5 - The White Enderman.
