The world ends not with a bang, but a whimper—the whimper of dying engines 30,000 feet above the earth.

When an EMP rips across the globe, plunging civilization into darkness, a Boeing 747 carrying John, a war-scarred veteran, hurtles from the sky. He survives the crash, but his real battle has just begun.

Stranded in the Canadian wilderness with a handful of survivors, including the resourceful Sarah and a young girl named Ava who's lost everything, John must navigate a world stripped bare. No technology. No communication. Only the primal instincts to survive.

As they fight to find their way home, whispers of a new world order emerge. A chilling vision of a society built on control, where those deemed “essential” thrive, and the rest are left to fight for scraps.

Faced with impossible choices and pursued by a threat both human and inhuman, John, Sarah, and Ava must decide: How far will they go to survive? And what will they sacrifice to reclaim their freedom in a world that's lost its humanity?

Crashing Skys is a gripping post-apocalyptic thriller that explores the limits of human resilience, the fragility of civilization, and the enduring power of hope in the face of unimaginable darkness.

I could not finish this book with only 1 hr left. it kept repeating a line about three bad people that they ran into.

the repeating story lines and listing things with 3 adjectives

after going back and re listening to parts where I totally got lost. I did listen to the end. the repetition of story line made me lose what was going on because of the description of the sky or the beginning of the revolt. poor John!

repetition of the storyline. painful to listen to.

but there's so much repetitive description in this story, and so little actual interaction between the characters. I almost hate to say this (I prefer to be nice) but if I'm offering some (hopefully) constructive criticism, to the author, please don't be quite so in love with long descriptions of everything, and endless flowery phrases repeated over and over as if proving the broadness of your vocabulary, and let there be more dialog between the characters. I finally had to just give up about half-way through the story; it was just a little too exasperating. Sorry, the story line wasn't bad, but with all the emphasis on descriptions and exaggerated phrasing, I just got tired.

Well, I hate to be negative...
