We published the first edition of this book series in early 2024, and received quite a few positive feedback. We are glad to know that our book series is helping students and working professionals land dream jobs in the hardware industry.

The second edition of this book series is still structured in the same way as how the modern ASIC / VLSI industry partitions the workflow, and we still focus on Verification, Implementation, Synthesis and Power in this book.

However, Part 1 Verification has been substantially rewritten. We added more contents on Design Verification and Formal Verification chapters. In addition, the Implementation and Power chapters in Part 2 incorporate more up-to-date interview questions that are frequently asked in hardware interviews. Lastly, we significantly improved the Front-End Design Checklist in Part 3 by following industry conventions and practices.

As hardware engineers, we understand how stressful and struggling the interview process can be. We hope our book series can come to a rescue.
