Robert Jenkens grows up in Albuquerque, New Mexico with loving parents, Jim and Dorothy. Raised in a devout Christian household, he attends Sunday School and church from a young age. At nine years old, he gives his heart to Jesus at a Pentecostal church. His parents encourage him to attend college, preferably a Christian one, but Robert decides to educate himself at home. With a photographic memory, he devours biblical literature and other books. In his late teens, he meets Joyce, a girl from church who shares his passion for politics. Together, they become heavily involved in supporting conservative causes on college campuses.

Robert and Joyce marry and have two children while continuing their political activism. They established a non-profit organization focused on campus ministry across the United States. Their efforts help presidential candidate Jordan Jones win the election by mobilizing young voters. During a ministry event in Arizona, a deranged teenager shoots and kills Robert, leaving Joyce to raise their children alone. Despite her grief, Joyce is determined to carry on Robert’s work and expand their ministry further.

The investigation into Robert’s murder stalls without any arrests. Joyce refuses to accept the lack of progress and hires a Christian detective to uncover the truth. The police eventually incarcerate a suspect, but Joyce believes they have the wrong person. She remains focused on her mission to find the real killer, while keeping the ministry thriving against all odds.

As Joyce delves deeper into the investigation with the detective's help, they uncover unexpected leads that point away from the teenager initially suspected. The search for answers takes them through layers of deception and hidden motives within the community. Joyce's relentless pursuit of justice reveals that the true murderer is someone nobody would suspect—a trusted volunteer within their own organization who felt betrayed by Robert's growing influence.

In the end, Joyce's faith and determination led to the arrest of the actual killer. The resolution brings closure to Robert’s death, allowing Joyce to focus entirely on continuing their shared vision for the ministry. Her unwavering commitment ensured Robert's legacy would live on through their work across college campuses nationwide.
