Pérez de Ayala) que llegó a dar su nombre al gran proyecto político del Islám medieval español: el Califato de Córdoba y que fue proa diplomática y militar de la guerra con la Granada Nazarí y de la gesta colombina, a sus monumentos más señeros de su rico patrimonio histórico-monumental, a la vida de sus gentes y a la semblanza de aquellos cordobeses que brillaron con luz propia en su tiempo.
