What we do know is that Confucius was born in China around 551 B.C. in the relatively small state of Lu, located in Shantung Province. While we cannot be certain of his ancestry, it is highly probable he had aristocrats in his lineage. However, his family had fallen on difficult times and he was raised humbly without wealth or influence around him.

Interesting

As was stated, some people look at the teachings of Confucius as a religion. I believe there is only one way to God, but his ideas were life altering to those who practice them.

Brief but excellent content. Presents the most important core ideas. With superb narration by Ms Rothwell.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A LONGER MORE DETAILED EPISODES OF ALL OF THE SERIES

This is not a book but a fast introduction to Confucius. I do not suggest this book, there should be better alternatives that give a more detailed introduction.
