I hated the AI generated prefaces

I wasn’t taken with the narrator, but it didn’t dramatically detract from the experience the way the nature of the prefaces did. My god. It’s sickening how AI has made it into something like this.

A MUST HAVE!!!!!!

I loved this book I’m biased as a discerning catholic. But this book truly was able to help me discern through my own spiritual matters. Sin abounds in those who know God with their mind, but not their soul. And I feel as though Augustine would agree. For this audio book though I loved the preface the introduction to what I would be going through helped me be immersed in Augustine’s story, while also being a third person which I suspect Augustine went through with himself with his spiritual reflection. Ultimately not only putting me in his shoes. But living as the saint he’s not only relatable he is us. How great are the simple yet sophisticated.

I appreciate that AI facilitated this free audiobook, but I worry about the accuracy of the novel because of AI’s involvement.

Overall, I suppose I am satisfied. That being said, I feel like I need to buy an older edition of an English-translated book to make sure that everything came out accurately.
