The stories do not only resonate with EMT’s who worked during the late 1980s all the way to past 2001, but with those who still are in the field of saving lives. From improvising tourniquets out of belts, to saving a young woman from ending her life by pulling her to safety from the edge of a rooftop, his stories paint a picture from the point of view of a human trying to save as many human lives as he could. As if being a Concrete Lifeguard was not hard enough, his career tells us about the toll the events of 9/11 took on all of them.
