After surviving a brutal assault in her home, Juliet Young wakes from a four-day coma with no recollection of the last five years of her life.

Juliet doesn't recognize the name she's being called, nor Malcolm, the man who everyone insists is her husband. And then there's Bianca, the strange woman who claims to be her closest friend and only ally. Fearful of returning to the house she had been assaulted in, which belongs to the man she has no memory of marrying, she takes temporary refuge with Bianca.

As Juliet begins to heal physically, her recent memories continue to elude her, but she still vividly recalls her brutal past, and what she had to do in order to escape it.

But her problems don't exist in the past. Someone wants Juliet dead now, before she can recover her memories.

And they'll do whatever it takes to make sure she never remembers.
