I could not imagine a more thorough and useful reference for networks. The book is extensive in its coverage and some topics are perhaps more advanced for those of us who are simply attempting to gain an understanding of how our home network functions.

I am really interested in computer networking because I do love computer stuffs. Well, this book has greatly helped me with the ins and outs of some communications systems. This is highly recommended for beginners!

If you don't have a text copy of the book, beware

There are a lot of concepts in here that benefit from visual representation. The narrator mentions various diagrams, but there's no way for me to actually look at them. This book desperately needs a companion PDF.
