Was curious to know

When I was a child, my parents always talked about composting and the benefits to plant life. I often watched my parents use compost material to fertilize plants on the farm. The smell was not very pleasant. I never really tried it myself as it looked hard. Interestingly, I didn’t really understand its value. I now have a large backyard and want to try it out. This book brought the whole process to light. The steps felt clear and practical, and I liked how the author explained what to add, what to avoid, and how to fix common problems when things go off track. The tips for balancing food scraps with yard waste were great. I am now creating my first vegetable garden and hope to implement some of the advice given. This book has given me some confidence that I can do it.
