Love this series!

I’ve loved everything by Kortney Keisel. This book was no exception. I think the dual narration really adds to the banter between Luke and Tessa. Fabulously written, great narration, what more can you ask for? Can’t wait for the rest of the series to be available on audiobook.

Another great book in this series

If you like low spice rom-com novels, this series is an absolute must read. I just adored Tessa and Luke.
Tessa travels to the resort Luke is in charge of preparing for its grand opening in order to oversee the progress (or lack of). They don’t see eye to eye about much but it was adorable to read how that all only serves to drive them together. The setting and concept was fun and unique. I’d listen to it again!

Such a great rom com. well written and an easy listen. Great characters and cute relationships.

Enemies to Lovers

Loved this story. Luke’s gruff personality paired with Tessa’s overly-optimistic personality was a fun match. The performers weren’t my favorite, but weren’t terrible either.

She did it again!

Loved the first book & now the second. Love when a book can make you laugh outloud. This is one of those books that maybe you sense how it will end but it just makes you so happy going through the journey. It’s funny and super sweet without being cheesy or eye rolling and some authors cannot pull that off. Awesome narration too.

Super Cute

I really enjoyed this book! The story was engaging and fun, and I thought it was better than its pre-Qual, Compared. Obviously, you can guess the ending, but getting there had a few surprises. I loved all the activities she thought up for the construction crew to do to waste time.
My only complaint is that the female narrator kind of used two or Three inflections for every sentence. She says most of the sentences with the same inflection, and that can get annoying. The guy was great though!
I recommend this for anyone who wants a sweet, clean, and funny romantic comedy. Can’t wait to read read the next book!

Loved this story!

I really enjoyed this fun romcom! I wasn’t sure what to think of Tessa at the beginning of the story, but I soon discovered she had a huge heart and dealt with some realistic fears and insecurities that explained her actions, and then I adored her. Luke was a such a yummy likable grump. He had the broody thing going for him, with a heart of gold underneath. They were an opposites attract, grumpy-sunshine couple, who were so perfect for each other!
I loved the many humorous moments, and the tension and chemistry between the main characters was fantastic. I also loved the dual narration and thought they did a great job.
This is a lighthearted story but it also deals with some tough topics…loss of a parent, infertility, a cheating parent—each handled with tact and sensitivity.
This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone.

Another great laugh out loud story!

Really liked the first two books I’ve read by Kortney Keisel. Light hearted rom-coms without all the spice. Looking forward to listening to more of her stuff! ☺️

Complex was a fun romcom and it was so nice to listen to it while I was driving or cleaning. I loved the back and forth arguing between Tessa & grumpy Luke.
