That book had a lot more In It than I expected. It talked about pet adoption, breeds, welcoming a new family member, kinds of food, training tips, the various accessories you can purchase and uses, and so much more! Impressive.

This audiobook is jam-packed with fantastic advice and almost a “best practices” on how to train your new pup and how to be the best dog-parent possible. I found the 7 steps to be successful in your first day with your new puppy to be super helpful as well as crate training (in a kind, compassionate way) and leash training. The narration was top-notch and made the book even more engaging. Definitely recommend!

I watch my buddy’s dog quite often since he travels for work and I’ve always dreaded the nightly walks because his dog was so extra about it. The audiobook format was a huge plus for me because I could listen while walking him. Wow, I wish I had read this book when I first got my dog! I am a first time mom dog parent and found so many mistakes I have made while going through this informative book. I am definitely going to review this when I go around for round two! I loved the self-answering questionnaire that helps you determine what type of fur baby is the most suitable for you and your family, the most important aspect of course being the amount of time you have to be able to spend with the doggo. I felt like the author included easy to incorporate and step-by-step techniques to help us be consistent with training our fur babies. Overall, highly recommend to all current and future dog parent.
