Commander Calloway is the third and final book in the series "The Calloways". The story begins as Dr. Kirby Calloway decides to re-enter the US Navy as a naval intelligence officer. Though his previous Navy service was adequate, it was not particularly distinguished. But in his entrance interview with his new boss, Captain Frederick Samson, his record of service in defeating a global human trafficking ring in "Spies", and in preventing a Chinese nuclear disaster by defeating Boko Haram in Nigeria in "Zurich" gets him a prized assignment on the USS Eisenhower as the senior intel officer. His mission: to defeat Russian and Chinese efforts to capitalize on American withdrawal from the Mid-East. He soon encounters a group of ex-Russian military who are stealing old Soviet armaments and selling them throughout the Mid-East. When the Eisenhower is attacked by a barrage of these weapons, the hunt intensifies. Then, Commander Calloway and SEAL Teams Four and Eight discover something far more dangerous; the Russians have sold nuclear-topped cannon shells with the power of the Hiroshima bomb. They must be found and retaken before they can be detonated in a major Israeli city, or against the Eisenhower herself.
