“You won’t find the excesses in this novel that you would see in most small press horror or even some of the newer mass market releases; it seems that Marriotte prefers to present his horror laden with atmosphere and emotion rather than the grotesque. Excellent for the price

Where does Cold Black Hearts rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I have heard much better, but I thoroughly enjoyed it especially for the price!

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

The book is pretty predictable, but again, enjoyable. I don't get offended if I can guess what is going to happen. It did have me guessing at times.

How could the performance have been better?

The reading was adequate, but I think has lots of potential. She didn't interfere in the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, several sitting, but I looked foward to listening to it.

I really enjoyed the book, and would recommend it to anyone.

Worth a listen

Tamara's style was just right for this story and gave it maturity beyond the plot. Interesting setting, beginning was excellent.

Anyone who would read the story like they weren't forced to read aloud in front of their elementary reading group in school.

I didn't stick around to note any.

I couldn't get through more than a few minutes. The story might actually be good, but I couldn't take listening to it.
