This was an interesting story, and the world that the characters inhabit was an exciting place.

The narration was very entertaining and brought the story to life.

The narration is done with great variety and a skillful imagination. Worth listening to!

Enthralling, Engaging and Fabulous!

Clover led a charmed life until the day she turned eighteen, and then everything started to go oh so wrong. Filled with deep, well developed characters, both good and positively evil, action, adventure, mystery, epic battles and shocking betrayals, Clover is a magical story where nothing is as it seems, but fear not, through the unbelievably talented writing of Nicole Kirkpatrick, it will all makes sense! Revealing anything else would be playing spoiler so just grab it and give it a listen, you won’t be sorry! The narration that breathes life into this story is fabulous! The flow smooth, the pace perfect, and the emotions felt by the characters voiced spot on, making this story pure listening pleasure! Again, no spoilers, but I did have a few favorites among the voices Cassandra Alling created for these wonderful characters. A certain feline absolutely captured my heart and just will not let go! I was provided a complimentary copy in exchange for a fair unbiased review. That said, this one is a winner and I would have gladly paid a credit. It really was that good!

Great fantasy story

Overall: A wonderful fantasy story, with great narration that will sweep you right into the book.

Narration: Alling really brought the story and characters to life. Perfect cadence, and easily distinguished voices for each character really made this a delightful listen. I could almost see the story unfold in my head like a movie, and the distinct voices just added to the character depth.

Story: These aren't the leprechauns you're used to! This was a great book, well paced, with well-developed characters. The twists were nice, but a few were easy to see coming, (but they still added to the story). I love how Kilpatrick's unique voice shines through, bringing her own twist on the fantasy and fae creatures genre. Although this is classified as young adult, older readers who love magic and the fae are bound to enjoy it too!

Whimsical Adventure

What a fun, whimsically-charming novel, adventure filled from page one! I enjoyed joining Clover in her coming of age journey into her new Magical world (I enjoyed the slow burn throughout the novel as well). I am looking forward to reading "Fae's Ascent: Clover" the Sequel in this magical series.

Young adult magic or luck or ???

Clover never expected to meet a leprechaun. She never expected to find that she was something more than just a teenage girl. Her whole world opens up and changes as she is introduced to the new world of adulting. Fantasy meets her reality.

Nicole Kilpatrick opened up a new world of the leprechauns and fae. Cassandra Alling brought time to life with her voice in all its many facets.

Clover, what can I say.
I really enjoyed this book. It was gifted to me via audio format to listen too.

About leprechauns, fae both seelie and unseelie and mermaids.

Great world building and I did enjoy both the fmc and mmc characters. The narration is fabulous I really enjoyed this voice actor.

This book moved right along. The fantastic voices of Cassandra Alling the narrator made it a 5 Star!

fast paced adventure through magic portals...

A fast paced adventure through magic portals into fairyland... Clover is a spunky teen, supported by the most interesting and diverse creatures, on a journey to unravel the curse that has been hers all her life...

The world building is sublime and lovely, truly from a fairytale; Clover - adorable to start with, totally comes into her own by the end of the book, a beautiful character arc; an enjoyable read that comes alive because of the amazing narration.

I can't wait to start the sequel...

Fun story and great narrator! :)

Fun, light story. The narrator did a great job—I was especially impressed with her ability to switch between multiple Irish accents.
