Giving Up Control

I didn’t like Michaela at first but she grew on me as the story unfolded. I love the A’anni. They are hilarious! Good book.

Okay, listen up, my fellow alien romance addicts! Clonely You had me flipping pages like I was trying to win an intergalactic speed-reading competition. Aithar is just the sweetest big red alien muffin—seriously, I wanted to snuggle him like a plush toy from the second he stumbled onto the page. And Michaela? She’s all sass and sparkle, the perfect foil to his gentle, earnest ways. Their banter? Chef's—wait, no, we don’t do that anymore—absolutely delicious! 🍬

This was the perfect evening read—short, steamy, and full of that signature Ruby Dixon alien charm. If I’m being honest, I just wish there’d been more! More chapters, more snuggles, more of Aithar figuring out human kissing. I was left feeling like a clone myself—hanging out on a lonely asteroid waiting for another round of swoony cuteness.

Four stars from me—only because I needed more of these two! If you’re looking for a quick alien fix, this one will definitely satisfy your cravings. 🛸❤️

Cute story

Cute and clever story. Love Risdaverse. Narration was overall fair. The male was fine. The female was lackluster. Tons of mispronunciation, disrespectful to the author and to Ruby’s listeners.

It started off great

“Think sexy! Think seductive! Think killer!”
This started off frisky and fun, promising an adventure to rescue Michaela’s sister from slavery.

“Space butter!”
However, there’s no actual movement towards the rescue until the epilogue. Instead, there’s a butter fixation, Michaela overtly using Aithar, and Aithar being the universe’s biggest pushover the whole way through. I suppose it was sweet, but I didn’t feel like Michaela truly loved Aithar as an equal.

Worst ruby dixon book

Honestly the story was absolutely not at all how the description says..she’s not even trying to rescue her sister it seems like. more about OCD and for whatever reason she’s a dom who wants nothing in return? This one is not at all what aithar deserved period! He deserved an epic romance and this was absolutely not it. Not to mention the narration was so monotone and not at all what I’m use to from a Ruby Dixon book. Listen at your own risk but absolutely not worth the credit.
