Slades humor, emotion and vulnerability allow the listener to get to know him and thus the story is even more engaging and entertaining. I even enjoyed the acknowledgments at the end. The science of resilience he shares can translate to anyone’s life and help improve it.

Great Stories And Lessons For Mental Toughness

I liked the combat action and the way that Brian narrated hood own book with his funny voices, singing and all. While raw, it’s still fun to listen to and engaging. Great lessons and teachings for creating a “Teflon Mind”!

Personal to me

The accuracy of how Slade recounts his experiences and how they align with many of mine. This needed to be done and done very well! Thank you
