Resumen del Editor

When the Earth is threatened by a slowly expanding sun, mankind embarks upon a mission to send a mammoth worldship to settle a new planet across the stars. The preternatural races step out of hiding to work with the humans to save what they can from their dying world. With the aid of the fae, shape shifters, vampires, and other creatures of supernatural lore, the worldship, Leviathan, is complete one thousand later.

The one thing about interstellar space is that it is vast on a scale that is almost incomprehensible. Yet the worldship Leviathan finds that there are two herculean vessels approaching on an intercept course from the Earth they left behind five thousand years ago.

Conditions are dire on the cityships, and an advance team is sent to evaluate the ships and the people on board. Brigade Enforcer Knith Shade is put in charge of the humanitarian mission.

Upon the conclusion of the mission, Knith finds herself and the very world itself, fighting for their lives in a battle that will decide the fate of the 12 million souls aboard the Leviathan.

The sequels are getting better and better! OMG!😮

They were certain they were all earth had--all that was left of humanity and supernaturals that resided on the planet! The twelve million souls that boarded the Worldship Leviathan to escape earth's slowly expanding sun to settle a new planet across the stars. Imagine the thrill of discovering that two vessels approaching on an intercept course from the Earth they left behind five thousand years ago. Conditions are dire on the Cityships, and an advance team is sent to evaluate the ships and the people on board. Knith Shade, Brigade Enforcer is put in charge of the humanitarian mission being 'touched' by the fae queens of both the Seelie and Unseelie courts.
Aboard the ships Knith witnesses deployable conditions including barely edible food for the survivors along with other indicators of human beings hardly managing to exist. However, nothing prepares her for the rampant prejudice and hostility the Cityships leaders have towards the supernatural beings residing on the Leviathan. As things progress, Knith finds herself and the very world of the Worldship, fighting for their lives in a battle that will decide the fate of the twelve million souls aboard the Leviathan.
Writer Erik Schubach cranks up the intensity of the series with every sequel in the Worldship Files series. Readers should expect this book in particular to rock them to their core. The world-building is incredible but the added dimension of character development due to this novel's specific conflict is astounding. There is a plausible, wonderful resolution to the book, making this one my absolute favorite.
