Love this series, and this was an excellent 2nd book. Wish there was a 3rd book.

Extraordinary, if a touch unbalanced

Extraordinary worldbuilding, of course, and ultimately very compelling, but this entry could have stood a bit more editing, I think. Some sections drag, seem almost repetitive, but, in the end, this book very much left me wanting more.

Smart engaging intelligent.

I was totally surprised by the quality of the writing of this book. The performance is excellent.

Devastated when it ended

I found this book and its predecessor to be incredibly captivating with its level of detail. I wanted more.

Great story

Plot, characters, performance, all top notch - great arc for Aia, but left me curious to know Constantine's side during the events by the end of the book
