Cicala-The First Two Thousand Years

The first thing one notices, as he visits Cicala, is the ground. It isn't grassy as one might expect. It has texture. The next, and most striking, sight are ponds of water that soar overhead on their never-ending circuit. Closer examination reveals plant and animal life which is strange and beautiful. These are the sights that were witnessed by Earth's 'cradle of humanity' two thousand years ago when they arrived as strangers. They are no longer strangers. It is their home.
