In the series of The Wizard of Moorport, you get to follow the old town wizard Turik, his sword wielding friend, the half elf Jendra Andoral and the faun Pym, how runs errands and do odd jobs for the old wizard.

This is a collection of three short fantasy/mystery stories set in the town of Moorport, an independent township in Eeyr. It is governed by the Portmaster and is considered a safe and lawful part of the world. But danger still lurks in the cobbled alleys and Turik the Wizard takes on the task of protecting his people.

Shadows in the walls
A desperate dark elf seek the wizards assistance to ease her husband’s fears. She claims that he can hear shadows in the walls that intend to take him. As she herself is attacked on the street Turik the Wizard and Jendra Andoral has to assist in any way they can, taking them outside the city walls to a place they did not know about.
Runes from the dead
A young woman, almost just a girl, is found dead in the town wizard's shop. It looks like suicide but she has scratched down some runes as she died - a message to Turik the wizard. With his friends Jendra and Pym he sets out on town to find who's behind a series of deaths among the young women - they were all forced into the labour of night fairies.
Firebug
A series of fires are spread in Moorport, several dozen young people are killed and Turik the wizard is trying to understand what is happening to his town. With some unexpected help from the faun Pym he think he’s on the trail to a solution, or is it just his own doom?
