This was so festive and beautiful

This was such a sweet and cozy Christmas listen. The story was heartwarming and full of second chance romance, set against the beautiful snowy backdrop of Scotland. I loved how it blended faith, forgiveness, and love in such a gentle way. It felt like the perfect holiday escape.

Lisa Lynn Sandlin absolutely shined in the narration. Her voice brought so much warmth and emotion to the story, making Sadie and Doug’s journey feel so real. She captured every feeling perfectly and made the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful, quick listen for anyone who loves clean, faith filled Christmas romances.

Short, Entertaining Christmas story

I loved Sadie right away, she is a fun and interesting character things get a bit tense when Doug shows up. Their relationship is interesting as they almost seem like strangers as they try to navigate the Christmas festivities with Sadie’s relatives in Scotland. This was a very short story, but still highly enjoyable. I sometimes like finding shorter stories to read or listen to.

Lisa did an amazing job on the audio, as always she is captivating and fun to listen to. I won’t comment on her Scottish accent as I told her I wouldn’t, but it is 100% better than anything I could ever accomplish & I did find it entertaining. Lisa has a wonderful talent when it comes to storytelling.

Super cute

This is a super sweet holiday romance that takes place in Scotland at a beautiful castle and the book starts out really sad and depressing. The main characters are having marriage troubles and they’ve just grown apart, but I love how that holiday magic can just spark a change sometimes and give people hope and show themwhere they could probably work to fix things and be better not just for themselves before their loved ones as well. I highly recommend those who love holiday romances, or cozy romances.

Christmas at Castle Carrick is the first book I have read written by Lisa M. Prysock. This novella is cozy and sweet, making it the perfect Christmas read. Christmas in Scotland in the family castle is magical, until Douglas shows up. Sadie and Douglas have not been seeing eye to eye on things, and communication seems to be their main issue. Watching things unfold, it was a fun story to read.

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook narrated by Lisa Lynn Sandlin. Lisa always manages to blow me away with her narrations, and this one was great. With the added treat of Lisa’s take on Scottish accents, the story was truly brought to life. This audiobook allowed me to enjoy Sunday Night Football with my husband. He was enjoying the game, and I was enjoying my book.

This second-chance romance was perfect and sweet, with kisses only.

The faith element is sprinkled throughout.
