Attorney Tony Yates wasn't looking forward to another Christmas holiday alone, but the way things looked, it was inevitable. After his breakup with his girlfriend, he had more or less given up on the happily ever after life he thought he would have with her. He tried dating, but the relationship with his ex left him gun shy as far starting a new relationship. But when mission director, part-time cleaning lady, Blair Gilbert walked in his office one evening, carrying a vacuum, he began to rethink his holiday plans.
Blair Gilbert was the director of the Main Street Mission, something she found joy and fulfillment. Filling in for a sick aunt cleaning office buildings, she meets Atty. Tony Yates, and the immediate attraction she felt for him had her scared, especially after she vowed never to give her heart to another man, who she felt were all alike, liars, who couldn't be trusted as far as she could throw him. That's why she decided it would do her well to stick to her passion, the mission. But there was something about Tony. His compassion for others seemed to show he was not like all men, and that compassion, not to mention, his drop-dead good looks, slowly began to break down her emotional wall of security.
After meeting Blair, Tony could feel the wall that protected his heart was slowly beginning to crumble, and they could feel the attraction they felt was turning to love.
Christmas was a time for miracles, and Tony and Blair found theirs, in each other.
