He hits upon a scheme to develop his find and in so doing manages to alienate not only his employees, but the whole town as well. How Norm recovers from this mess, with just a little help from an angel is the crux of the tale. Christmas in Cowchip is one in a series of inter-related tales that have Cowchip Alabama and or the RYO Corporation in common. You'll want to read them all.
