When the real Bobby shows a stronger interest in Caralyn, her resolve to keep him at an arm’s length wavers, especially when Bobby’s ex-fiancé comes to visit. The only thing standing between her choices and her desired change is herself.

Can she put the past aside long enough to be the person in the future she yearns to be?

That Bobby stayed even though she was indecisive.

I really enjoyed the storyline and recommend it to others. It is a feel good story that really hit home. I love all of Jenny Rabe books.

A New Take on An Old Classic

I love Christmas love stories at certain times of year and this book definitely scratched that itch. I could have done without the twist to draw it out but overall it was a good book. Kept me engaged and interested. I did yell at a character once or twice which is always a sign of a good book to me.

Clean Romance

Cute clean romance. A fun retelling of a Christmas Carol. The story style reminds me a little of Richard Paul Evans type books.

Such a sweet romantic story

This is an extremely well-written retelling of a classic story. The main character is real. I understand completely how grieving the loss of a loved one makes you push everyone away. You don’t want to hurt like that again, but at the same time we need those people in our lives to be able to move on and experience happiness. I’m glad Caralyn realized it before that was too late.
