Good friends. Boyfriend & Girlfriend. Instigator and extra. A not so scavenger hunt. Luck of the draw wins Veronica Willis an all-expense paid six-day vacation to Malta. Oh, and she can invite five other people.
Of course, she invites her two best friends, Jeri, and Kat. But what she doesn’t share is her, not so well developed, rest of the plan.
A not so scavenger hunt on the island the week of Christmas. Three guys will be there also: Jeri’s long-time boyfriend, Kat’s new boyfriend, and Veronica’s ex-boyfriend. Now if Veronica can just keep her mouth shut.
The scavenger hunt begins when they get up in Malta, and so does the fun. To scavenge the sites on Malta, they are to also scavenge the people. Veronica hopes they spy their significant other while out and about.
Meanwhile, Fleming Drakos and his sister Phoebe, travel agents on the island, have been a big help in Veronica’s ability to put it all together. Tensions tighten when Fleming meets with Veronica, but soon those tensions become sparks of interest.
Life comes alive as they learn the Christmas traditions of the island and exactly where true love lies.
