Wonderful

I listened to this book on audible. I first listened to “chosen by a horse” so I had the background, not that it was necessary, but it was nice. I really loved listening to this book as much as the last. I think that having the right person to read a book is so important. Lorna Raver did a fantastic job conveying the sarcasm and whit that Susan wrote. Delightful!

listener beware

listening to this book in public is bound to cause, at very least, sideways glances. People may even ask if you are ok. You will find yourself laughing out loud, gasping and possibly wiping away a tear. just recommend the book and keep listening. it is worth it.

I enjoyed this book , but not as much as the first one " Chosen by a Horse. " I did like the narrator, she has an easy voice to listen too.

What about Lorna Raver’s performance did you like?

It was very lovely to catch up with old friends. So very glad to hear life was embraced so well.

Great continuation of Chosen by a Horse

A well read sequal. I enjoyed it as much as the first book.

Love it, even though I don't ride horses.

I love this book! I love the reader! I love how honest Susan writes. And I was surprised at how often her experiences aligned with my own. Multiple times I quickly turned my head in surprise, looking over at the phone with my eyes wide opened! Well paced, I was sorry when it ended. Now on to her first book! Happy it's the same reader!

another job well done

I loved this story. The narrator did a fantastic job. It was as good as the first one. You won't be disappointed.

Started out well

Then it turned into what I would describe as insipid The narration was not bad just not interesting.

Couldn’t get through it

The story started out well enough,introducing snippets of the author’s life and how it had contributed to her personality. However, she became increasingly tone deaf as she spoke of the privileged environment from which she came. The narrator also affected an upper class accent that became grating to the ears. I got to the last hour and had to quit.
