He went on to become the most successful British player to grace Series A, winning two championships with Italian giants Juventus, taking centre stage for Sampdoria and enjoying a successful stint in the San Siro with Inter Milan, before returning to England for one last hurrah with West Ham.

In addition to Liam's club successes, "Chippy" also starred on the international stage for Ireland, winning 72 caps. But, despite all the glory and medals, it is the skill, the talent and that undefinable genius that will always be Brady's legacy.
