Fun and Lively

It ended all too soon. The snippets of motherhood were very realistic and endearing. The characters became fully developed with all the drama of each incident.s

Only Danielle Steel can make a messy family seem normal! I love how the mother grew right along with her children.

The narrator did a great job. I really enjoyed it and couldn't stop listening.

Pretty Good

I enjoyed this book, I hated Claire but overall it was a quick easy listen.

The narration ruined it for me

The story was just Ok. It was creepy having a male narrator read the story and talk in 3rd person. Worse was the voices of the female characters.
I like Danielle Steel, but this wasnt her best.

Great characters

I liked the story kept me engaged the whole time I thought there was going to be a sick turn and a part two but it was a refreshing story

Contemporary Romance

Though it got off to a slow start, the story quickly picked up speed. Addressing the parenting challenges for this moment in history was thoughtfully and realistically portrayed.

Typical DS. It did not have the typical shocker she usually has in her books. Great story.

No character development

Come on, seriously? I know that these romance novel books are supposed to be cranked out in about 24 hours apiece, but even Danielle Steele, as well as she writes, needs to develop her characters. I think I really lost it when we went from this guy who was a complete, moron to the best sex she’s ever had in about the chapter. I’m sorry, I don’t like to complain, and I’m the first one to give out five star reviews. If a book is pretty good, and I remain pretty interested, but the truth has to be part parcel to the comments I made.
