I love listening to ms komisar's interviews and lectures, but the reader of this audiobook sounds like a one note flute. I'll just buy the print book...

I needed a reference to understand behaviors that were happening in my children. This is an excellent overview of many difficulties that parents may face and raising their children. It gives options for repair and family growth. I expect I will come back to this book many times over the next 10 years of finishing raising my children.

As a clinician who works with older teens, I found this book to be full of useful information for both parents and professionals. I highly recommend this read, preferably in book format.

The narrator here lacks empathy, uses higher tones when talking about teen suicide and bullying which inherently feels wrong, and I feel the narrator is the biggest reason why this audiobook hasn't taken off more.

The monotone robotic voice makes listening extremely painful. Doubt I’ll be able to finish. Wish we could choose a different narrator
