Excruciatingly Beautiful
Listening to Andy read about his dad's last days on earth was exceptionally moving. His gift for storytelling allows you to be in the room with his family. In typical Andy fashion, he's willing to relive these incredibly personal, heartwarming, and gut-wrenching moments just in case they might help someone else walking with a loved one through his/her last days on earth. Similar to his description of his dad, he's always looking for ways to bless others. He's found yet another one with this book. I highly recommend "Cheers, Dad" if you or someone you love has been given an end-of-life time frame. Andy helps us realize how excruciatingly beautiful death can be and that there's abundant hope for those of us with time still left on earth. As I read this, the words of Jesus, recorded in Matthew 25:21, kept running through my mind: "Well done, My good and faithful servant!"
