CHASING THE DRAGON is the story of an ordinary man, Will Doherty, and a few extraordinary days over a span of sixty years. After a mysterious event as a young man he tries to make a life for himself while being haunted by the enigmatic nature of his long ago experience. As he struggles with his job at an independent telephone company, the sudden appearance of his drug dealing half-brother bring chaos to the sleepy little town in central Illinois. An unexpected romance with the town librarian, the gift of a Norton motorcycle, and a lightening strike are all events that take Will on a journey of discovery culminating in a road trip to Monument Valley in Arizona.
