Kurt Hornby has been in love with Diasy, his best friend since childhood, with no intention of ever revealing his true feelings... except lately his pent-up longing has been driving him mad. It's nearing Christmas at the medieval castle they attend for boarding school. One day while studying at the library, Kurt stumbles upon a dated self-help dating guide. At first, he scoffs at it but changes his mind when it becomes clear that Daisy has attracted more than one boy at school. Charmed is a young adult/new adult novel set in England around the Christmas holiday that tells the tale of one young man's journey to rise above the abuse that has plagued his life in order for his best friend to see him as something more than what he's always been.
