Cassie Linden worries about every word she can’t remember, terrified of the early-onset Alzheimer’s that stole her mother. Now, recently divorced, she’s back home to care for her aging father, who can no longer manage his beloved bees.

But does Cassie really want to know? And will the answer sink her newfound chance at happiness?

A Calm, Heartfelt Listening Experience

I enjoyed this from beginning to end. It’s a quiet, emotional story about starting over while facing fear, family responsibility, and unexpected love. A gentle, reflective read with heart. The narration by Jess Wright was good and added to the experience.

Great storyline about a relationship. Very well done by the narrator, it's very enjoyable and very well thought out. Definitely recommend this book.

Relationships and Bees

This is a sweet story about a lawyer who loves the city but learns to enjoy a simpler, slower lifestyle, and the relationships she develops with her aging father and a beekeeper who she hires to help her father.
