There are no safe allies in this story

This is one of those plots where you can't trust anyone. Every character seems to be hiding something and that makes you always on your toes. The story moves between secrets, covert missions and decisions that change everything in seconds. The narrator's voice fits very well: clear, firm and with just the right pace to follow the thread without getting lost. If you like thrillers with spies and constant tension, this one does not disappoint.

I'm always on the lookout for good thrillers and I loved this one, it's fast paced, has unexpected twists and turns and that air of constant danger. The story hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let go. The best part is how it mixes action with moral doubts and internal betrayals. John M O'Connor's narration gives it just the right tone, serious but without exaggeration, ideal for such a plot. Perfect if you like spy stories with a contemporary background.
