7th but second

a little adventure after fletch fled the country with 3 million dollars in cash. this takes place some weeks later with Fletcher throwing money at everyone. it's not as interesting as his first adventure and with no one knowing him personally in Brazil he doesn't seem to be an asshole. he sloves a murder that happened 47 years in the past and help dump the body of a friend in the ocean.

Not a template series

Each book is unique. Great characters. Not in chronological order. Excellent narrator. Storylines are very entertaining.

Maybe a little history of Brazil.
People will believe what they want to believe enjoy.

Really clever

This is much more than a fun romp in Brazil during Carnival, it’s the perfect blend of irony, wit, and mystery.

Another Amazing Story

I’ll never live long enough to learn all the things this author has at his finger tips. He knows something about everything.

Different than the others

while I did enjoy the story, it is my least favorite Fletch story. At times it seemed like it had too much going on by the middle of the story, but wrapped things up nicely by the end.

Going downhill

This story wasn't nearly as good of satisfying as the previous books. It's set in a laid back Brazilian carnival, so the story flounders from point to point, much more than the other Fletch books before it! The narrator was great, as usual!

A lot of travelogue, lesser plot

This was another enjoyable listen from this author and narrator. The Fletch series is entertaining, hilarious, sexy and philosophical.

Second best Fletch

Reminiscent of the original Fletch. Awesome. Powerful. But still Fletch. Definitely was worth its price.

Worth a listen

I agree with the other reviewers that there was a lot of Rio in this. Some crazy stuff. But it all kind of pays off.
