Chicken Little was right after all. The sky literally is falling.

In a cataclysmic turn of events, the ambitious venture of asteroid mining spirals into a nightmarish scenario that no one saw coming—except perhaps, the fabled Chicken Little. It began with a boom as colossal machines drilled deep into the heart of a massive asteroid, seeking the treasures within. But what followed was a catastrophe of cosmic proportions.

The failure was spectacular, an explosive mishap that sent the asteroid shattering into a million pieces, unleashing a torrent of carbon flakes upon the Earth. These carbon remnants, once locked away in the asteroid's core, now float down from the heavens like a sinister snowstorm, darkening the skies and blanketing the planet in a thick, ashen veil.

As carbon flakes drift down in an eerie, endless descent, the world is plunged into chaos and transformation. Cities become shadowy silhouettes under the oppressive gray sky, while landscapes are draped in a monochrome shroud. The very air thickens with the particulate debris, altering climates and suffocating ecosystems.

The global aftermath is immediate and brutal. Power grids falter under the unusual load, communication networks are crippled, and society teeters on the brink of anarchy. As leaders scramble to find solutions, scientists race against time to understand the full impact of this new reality. The carbon snow not only threatens to choke the life out of flora and fauna but also poses severe health risks to humanity.
