A nice Wisconsin tale!
I’m from the Upper Peninsula so I enjoy regional stories. Maggie’s books are always enjoyable. Just the right amount of humor mixed in with the mystery. I thoroughly enjoy the readers who add depth to the characters.

The new Faye voice is torture
I liked the original Faye so much better, a down to earth gal. The new Faye sounds pretty dopey, but if you play her parts at 1.3x it sounds more like normal human speech.
As for the plot, I can’t believe a missing FBI agent wouldn’t draw more attention from the bureau.
